Saad spent his formative years in the US and UK, qualifying with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Birmingham. He also obtained a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, having successfully passed further assessments through the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. Through the University of Bristol and its affiliated centres, Saad gained extended theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the placement and restoration of dental implants.
His work in Oral Surgery presented him with the opportunity to research further aspects of this specialty and some of his findings were nominated for a prize. Together, with colleagues, Saad published and presented a paper at a major international conference in Barcelona, Spain. Saad has also co-authored additional academic publications in the fields of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine.
Saad appreciates the importance of keeping his skills up to date and so regularly engages in conferences, lectures, and education (amounting to a minimum of 250 hours over a 5 year period). This greatly expands and advances his clinical techniques for the benefit of patients.
In his spare time Saad volunteers at a registered charity, for which he was a founding trustee. The charity caters for the educational and physical development of young people from less privileged backgrounds. He is also a keen sportsman, having previously represented both England and Great Britain.
